If you're wandering through Long Beach and find yourself craving delicious Thai cuisine, look no further than Mink Quan Thai Restaurant. Tucked away at 2821 E Anaheim St, this cozy, mom-and-pop spot is a delightful gem that has been winning the hearts (and appetites) of locals and visitors alike.

At Mink Quan, the aroma of authentic Thai spices wraps around you as soon as you step into their charming little haven. The restaurant brilliantly embodies the spirit of home-cooked meals with a rich, vibrant cuisine that you simply cannot resist. The standout dish, as many customers rave, is the spicy crab noodles—a symphony of flavors that artfully balances the spice and zest of lime with savory noodles, enticing both adventurous eaters and those longing for a new favorite. Janelle Choi, a delighted patron, describes it as “the most mouthwatering spicy crab noodle” she’s ever tried, emphasizing its authentic taste that leaves you craving more.

Besides the exceptional crab noodles, be sure to explore other crowd-pleasers like the shrimp fried rice and Tom Yum chicken soup. Customer David Septimo has shared that the fried rice comes in enormous portions, perfect for sharing or for the extremely hungry! Each bite is bursting with fresh ingredients and profound taste that transports you right to the bustling streets of Thailand.

It’s important to note that the restaurant operates on a cash-only basis and does not feature dine-in options, but many have made it a delightful experience, enjoying their meals in the comfortable surroundings of their cars. Think of it as a casual picnic of pure taste and satisfaction. D. P. highlights the fantastic oil chili sauce that accompanies many dishes, an item you definitely don’t want to overlook, despite the hiccup with service mentioned by a few customers. It’s clear that the love for the food overshadows these minor inconveniences.

So, if you find yourself craving an authentic Thai experience, Mink Quan Thai Restaurant promises not only to tantalize your taste buds but also to deliver a slice of Thailand right in Long Beach. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, the warmth of this small, bustling kitchen invites you to take part in its flavorful journey.

Don’t forget to check your wallet and prepare for a treat that will undoubtedly leave you reminiscing long after you finish your meal!

Small mom and pop spot with the most mouthwatering spicy crab noodle. It’s a dish I’ve never tried before, spicy, savory, limey, delicious! Cash only!! and no dine in! We just parked and enjoyed it in the car! It tastes like an authentic home cooked Thai meal and we can’t wait to come back!!

I been here a few times, the food is very tasty but the wait can be pretty extreme sometimes. The location is pretty small so it tends to fill quick. Seems to be a favorite with the locals as it always has at least a couple people inside. I've had their shrimp fried rice, cashew chicken and spicy shrimp soup. The fried rice is a super huge portion, I mean BIG. Definitely shareable. The cashew chicken was portioned way smaller but the flavor is really good. Somewhat tangy and sweet. It didn't catch my eye when I seen it but the taste had me glad I tried it. The spicy shrimp soup was more sour than spicy. Hard to describe the flavor but if you like adding lemon to certain soups, you'll enjoy this one for sure. (Sorry for not getting any pics everyone, received a lot of bad news today, my mind was in the clouds.)

BEST THAI FOOD IVE EVER HAD! My family love the food here. However the customer service is horrible. They need personel but seems like they are not worried about it. Been coming here for a few years like 9. Prices went up and portions are getting smaller however the taste is delicious! like no other. the oil chili sauce is the best. Cash only this is annoying.
